                   °Its accept and store input data.

                   °Process the same and Output the processed result in the form of reports.

•Introduction of computer:

                                                     Output of computer is also as information. So,information is the processed form of data.

                      Accepting the data as input.

२Storing:

                  Sorting the data and instructions in its memory and recalling the same as and when required.

३Processing:

                        Processing the data as per instruction to convert it into useful information.

४Outputting:

                         Communicating the information as output

५Controlling:

                          Controlling all the above mentioned functions.
